Students Support Facilities
The college has the following student support facilities:
EDUCATIONAL TOUR
The college organises Field Trips’ Educational Tours and Internal and External Excursion in every academic year in different parts of the country helping the students to develop knowledge and ability to learn.
CARRIER COUNCELLING CELL
The college provides expert counselling on different careers. In collaboration with the career Guidance cell of “Directorate of Higher Education” the counselling cell organises various awareness programmes on different careers and study activities.
LIBRARY
The college library is a dynamic institution providing education for intellectual advancement to the students as well as faculty. It provides necessary facilities for mastering the subject matter, techniques, skills, habits of thoughts and methods of work in their chosen files and also provides all the required opportunities for attending complex educational objectives.
The library has 11560 books including 18 journals, 4990 reference books besides, facilities of E- Resources under NLIST Programme.
HOSTEL FACILITY
The college provides accommodation for over 64 girl students in two girl’s hostels within the college campus under the supervision of a competent warden.
COMPUTER CENTRE
The college has a Computer Centre providing internet with uninterrupted round the clock power supply. The centre has installed 30 Computer sets. The college has recently opened CCC course, DCA for both students and faculty members in collaboration with NIELIT. Besides this the college also conducted NDLM course in the computer centre.
REMEDIAL COACHING
The college has been continuing remedial coaching classes under UGC guideline for the uplifment of the students coming from the economically backward villages of the southern periphery of Manipur.
KAKCHING KHUNOU COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The college has and Alumni Association which is constantly working in cooperation with college authority for the rapid development of the college.
BLOOD GROUP TESTING
The anthropology Department of the college started a new programme for testing blood group of the students and faculty members from the year 2013.
N.S.S. UNITS
The three N.S.S. units of the college have been organizing various programmes in the college campus and surrounding villages including the adopted village. Various kinds of trees are planted in the college campus and surrounding areas of the villages both in the hill and valley as a part of keeping ecological balance etc.
